Course overview

Get more bottom time on Krabi's deeper reefs and the King Cruiser wreck with the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox specialty, taught from Ao Nang. You learn to analyse cylinders, program your computer and plan enriched-air dives so you can extend no-decompression limits on the Andaman sites reached by boat. You finish certified as an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox diver.

What you’ll learn

• Analyse and label oxygen content in a cylinder
• Program enriched-air mixes into a dive computer
• Calculate maximum operating depth and oxygen exposure
• Plan repetitive dives using enriched air
• Stay within oxygen-toxicity limits

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (junior) or 15
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification
• No prior specialty experience required
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

   Work through the digital enriched-air training, practise analysing and labelling cylinders, set your computer and optionally put the skills to use on a dive from Ao Nang.
