Using enriched air on the multi-dive day boats around the South Malé Atoll, you extend no-decompression limits and shorten surface intervals so you can log more dives in warm 27-30°C water. It is one of SSI's most popular specialties for divers on busy reef itineraries.
SSI Enriched Air Nitrox is delivered through the SSI free digital platform and can be completed without dives, though practising on a dive is recommended. It counts toward the SSI Specialty and Master Diver ratings.
Nitrox is most useful on Maafushi's multi-dive day-boat trips across South Malé Atoll sites such as Maafushi Corner and Banana Reef, where extended no-stop time lets you get the most from each dive in 27-30°C water. Conditions are best November to April.
