Course overview

The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox specialty earns you longer bottom times on Nusa Penida's deeper reefs, ideal for divers who want more time with the mantas and Mola Mola. Extended no-decompression limits are a genuine asset at Crystal Bay and Manta Point, where patience in the cold thermoclines is often rewarded. The certification qualifies you to analyse, plan and dive enriched air to recreational limits.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10 (with Open Water Diver) or as set by SSI
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent entry-level certification
• No prior nitrox experience required
• Diver medical clearance where indicated

   Work through the SSI digital academics, practise gas analysis and labelling, set up your computer, and optionally dive enriched air at a site like Toyapakeh.
