SSI Enriched Air Nitrox on the Perhentian Islands teaches you to dive oxygen-rich blends for longer bottom times and shorter surface intervals, a real advantage on the islands' repetitive daily diving and deeper sites such as the Sugar Wreck and the Pinnacle. It is delivered through SSI's digital platform and is mainly a theory course, with optional in-water application.
SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certifies you to use blends up to 40 percent oxygen and is delivered through the SSI digital platform. The course can be completed as a knowledge programme, with optional training dives to apply the skills.
Nitrox is well worth it on the Perhentians' multiple-dives-a-day schedule and deeper sites like the Sugar Wreck and the Pinnacle, where extended limits mean more time underwater in the warm March-to-October season.
