The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox specialty extends your bottom time across Rasdhoo Atoll's reefs and drifts, and it is one of the most practical certifications a multi-dive trip can add. You learn to analyse and dive enriched-air blends so you can lengthen no-decompression limits and shorten surface intervals on the atoll's busy two-dive days, with theory completed entirely online before you arrive.
The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox specialty is completed largely through SSI's digital platform and counts toward the Specialty Diver and Master Diver recognition ratings. It certifies you to dive enriched-air blends up to 40 percent oxygen.
Nitrox pays off in Rasdhoo's typical two-dives-a-day rhythm at multilevel reef and channel sites, giving extra time with reef sharks and turtles at spots like Madivaru Corner and Holhi Faru. The calm November-to-April season makes those longer dives most enjoyable.
