Course overview

The SSI Navigation specialty builds your confidence finding your way underwater with compass and natural references, useful on Fujairah's reefs and walls. Practising at sites like Dibba Rock and Sharm Rocks, you learn to run accurate patterns, judge distance and navigate reliably back to your starting point.

• Estimate distance with kick cycles and timing
• Run navigation patterns underwater
• Find your way back to a chosen exit point

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent
• Comfort with basic buoyancy and core skills
