The SSI Night Diving specialty shows you Alor's reefs after dark, when octopus, crustaceans and hunting predators take over the macro slopes. Through guided night dives you develop light technique, night navigation and after-dark communication so you can explore Alor's reefs safely at night.
SSI Night Diving is delivered through the SSI digital platform and counts toward SSI Specialty Diver and Master Diver recognition. It can be completed in a focused programme of guided night dives.
Night dives use Alor's calm, macro-rich reefs near the resort, away from the strongest currents, with the April-to-November season giving the most settled evening conditions.
