Develop the judgement and skills to prevent and manage diving emergencies with the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue course in Moalboal, Cebu. Training on the sheltered Panagsama Beach house reef, you learn to spot stress early and carry out surface and underwater rescues in the same warm, accessible water where local instructors train. The dive course turns you into a more confident, self-reliant diver, and you earn the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue certification on completion.
SSI Diver Stress & Rescue requires a current emergency-care (React Right or equivalent CPR/first-aid) certification and counts toward the SSI Master Diver rating; it is also a prerequisite on the path to SSI Divemaster. Materials and the certification card are delivered through the SSI digital platform.
Rescue practice uses the calm Panagsama Beach house reef with its easy shore entry and shallow shelf, which suits surface and underwater rescue drills in 27-29°C water. December to May has the most settled conditions.
