SSI Scuba Diver on Havelock is a streamlined certification that lets you dive to 12 metres under professional supervision in the warm Andaman Sea. It works well for visitors with limited time, and still gives you real underwater experience over Havelock's coral reefs with clownfish and parrotfish. You can upgrade to full Open Water whenever you are ready.
SSI Scuba Diver uses free digital materials and repeatable performance-based sessions, with an SSI digital card and a straightforward upgrade to Open Water.
Skills are built in Havelock's flat shallow bays before two open-water dives to about 12 metres on nearby coral reefs. The clear, warm Andaman Sea makes for easy first dives among clownfish, parrotfish and small reef creatures. Beginner sites remain diveable throughout the year.
