Add the SSI Wreck Diving specialty on Maafushi by diving Kuda Giri, the South Malé Atoll's best-known wreck, a coral-covered cargo vessel with plenty of reef fish. Over training dives in warm 27-30°C water you learn wreck navigation, survey and safe limited-penetration techniques. You leave qualified to plan and enjoy wreck dives responsibly.
SSI Wreck Diving teaches responsible wreck exploration using the SSI digital learning platform and counts toward the SSI Specialty Diver and Master Diver ratings. Any penetration is taught within limited-penetration guidelines using proper lines and procedures.
Dives focus on Kuda Giri, a wreck sitting in 15-25 metres of South Malé Atoll water with heavy coral growth and resident fish, in calm to moderate conditions and 27-30°C water best dived November to April.
