The surveying, buoyancy and line-handling techniques you learn carry over directly to Bali-area wrecks and to more controlled diving everywhere. SSI Wreck Diving is delivered through your free SSI digital account and certifies you to dive wrecks to 30 metres, including limited guideline-assisted penetration where conditions allow. It counts towards SSI Specialty and Master Diver recognition.
Wreck training runs from Nusa Penida using suitable structures in the wider Bali area, with surveying and buoyancy drills first practised on sheltered Nusa reefs such as Sental. Conditions are best from April to November.
