About this expedition

A week of northern Red Sea wrecks and coral walls from a luxury liveaboard, scheduled around the Diwali break. Running 8 days (24–31 Oct 2026), it’s built for advanced-level divers. You’ll need your Advanced Open Water and around 30 logged dives. We hold 20 slots for the iDive group, and the trip is confirmed the moment 15 divers reserve.

Day 1Board in HurghadaBoat check-in, welcome briefing, gear set-up and a check dive on a sheltered reef.
Day 2Strait of Gubal wrecksTwo wreck dives plus a night dive over a lit reef.
Day 3SS ThistlegormTwo dives on the WWII wreck, trucks, motorcycles and the cargo holds.
Day 4Ras MohammedShark & Yolanda Reef drift, Anemone City and steep coral walls.
Day 5Strait of TiranFast, fishy drift diving across the Jackson, Woodhouse and Gordon reefs.
Day 6Northern reefsRelaxed reef diving and macro hunting; de-gas day before flying.
Day 7DisembarkFinal breakfast and transfer back to Hurghada.

Why Advanced Open Water + 30 dives?

The northern sites have mild-to-moderate current, sit around 25–30 m and include open-water wreck dives. An AOW card plus recent time in the water means the group stays safe and nobody is task-loaded on the descents.

Is Nitrox really included?

Yes. If you hold a Nitrox certification, the fills cost you nothing. If you do not, add the course at idive.in before you fly.

How many divers share the boat?

We hold up to 20 slots for the iDive group, and the trip goes ahead once 15 divers have reserved.
