The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification raises your depth limit to 30 metres and is recognised worldwide. Each adventure dive can later be credited toward the matching PADI specialty course.
The five adventure dives run across the reef and deeper sites off Kovalam in the Arabian Sea, home to reef fish, the occasional turtle, barracuda, octopus, lionfish, moray eels and stingrays. The calm post-monsoon season, roughly October to March, and warm 27-30°C water suit deeper work.
