You finish as an SSI Advanced Adventurer, ready for deeper diving and further specialty training.
SSI Advanced Adventurer is the SSI equivalent of an advanced course. Each adventure dive completes the first dive of the matching SSI specialty, so you can continue toward Specialty Diver ratings. It certifies you to 30 metres and is recognised worldwide.
The five adventure dives run on the reef and deeper sites off Kovalam in the Arabian Sea, where reef fish, the occasional turtle, barracuda, octopus, lionfish, moray eels and stingrays are seen. The post-monsoon season, about October to March, with warm 27-30°C water suits deeper diving.
