The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course opens up Nusa Penida's signature sites, taking your certified depth limit to 30 metres and building the skills to dive its currents. Across five Adventure Dives you tackle deep reefs, refine navigation and ride the drifts of Toyapakeh, putting you within reach of Manta Point and Crystal Bay. It is the natural next step after Open Water and leads into specialty training.
PADI Advanced Open Water extends your depth limit to 30 metres and only requires the Deep and Underwater Navigation Adventure Dives; you choose the other three. Each Adventure Dive can credit towards the matching PADI specialty course.
Adventure Dives use Nusa Penida's standout sites, with deep and navigation work at reefs like Sental and Pura Ped and drift practice at Toyapakeh. Conditions permitting, you may dive Manta Point or cold Crystal Bay. The April-to-November season has the best visibility and big-animal encounters.
