The SSI Advanced Adventurer course opens Nusa Penida's deeper, more exciting sites, combining five adventure dives to extend your range to 30 metres. You build deep-diving and navigation skills while learning to handle the drift of Toyapakeh, bringing Manta Point and Crystal Bay within reach. It is the practical next step after Open Water and a way into SSI specialty training.
SSI Advanced Adventurer is built from five different adventure dives, each a taster of an SSI specialty, and any completed dive can credit towards the full specialty later. Progress is tracked in your free SSI digital logbook.
Adventure dives use Nusa Penida's best reefs and walls, with deep and navigation work at Pura Ped or Sental and drift practice at Toyapakeh, plus a possible visit to Manta Point or cold Crystal Bay. The dry season from April to November gives the clearest water and most reliable encounters.
