Build on your Open Water certification with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course in Tarkarli-Malvan, expanding your skills over five adventure dives including deep and underwater navigation. Diving the calm, boat-accessed reefs off Malvan near Sindhudurg Fort, you certify to 30 metres and gain the confidence to dive a wider range of sites.
PADI Advanced Open Water certifies you to 30 metres and is the natural next step after Open Water Diver. The Deep and Underwater Navigation dives are required; the remaining three adventure dives are electives you choose with your instructor.
Adventure dives use the boat-accessed reefs off Malvan and the sheltered bay near Sindhudurg Fort. The water is warm at 26-29C, and in the post-monsoon October-to-May season the Konkan coast stays calm and clear, which makes the deep and navigation dives straightforward and relaxed.
