The PADI Advanced Open Water course builds on your Open Water certification with five adventure dives that take you to 30 metres and expand your skills, a good fit among Trincomalee's varied reefs and wrecks. You complete Deep and Underwater Navigation as core dives, plus three of your choice from options such as Wreck, Night and Peak Performance Buoyancy, exploring Pigeon Island Marine Park and the deeper sites near Swami Rock.
PADI Advanced Open Water extends your depth limit to 30 metres and credits some adventure dives toward specialty courses. It is the prerequisite path toward Rescue Diver and beyond.
Advanced dives range across the Pigeon Island Marine Park reefs, the deeper rocky sites near Swami Rock and Trincomalee's wrecks. With the calm May-to-September window, with April and October still diveable on either side, conditions stay consistent for deeper and elective dives.
