Course overview

On the Perhentian Islands, the PADI Scuba Diver certification is the entry-level Basic Diver option, qualifying you to dive to 12 metres under the supervision of a PADI professional. It is a good fit if you are short on time, covering the first portions of the Open Water course in the warm, calm bays off Long Beach.

   First Open Water knowledge sections and confined-water skills practice in calm shallows off Long Beach.
2. Day2
   Open-water dives and certification

   Two supervised open-water dives to 12 metres on a local reef, then PADI Scuba Diver certification.
