SSI Basic Diver (Scuba Diver) is a recognised certification that lets you dive to 12 metres with a professional. It can be upgraded to the full SSI Open Water Diver certification by completing the remaining requirements.
Training uses the sheltered, shallow bays off Long Beach and Coral Bay, where warm water around 27-30°C and easy conditions during the March-to-October season suit new divers learning core skills.
