The PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience at Netrani Island on Karnataka's Murdeshwar coast lets you breathe underwater for the first time. After a short briefing and confined-water practice, an instructor guides you on a shallow dive over the reef, where you can spot reef fish and coral in clear, warm water. It is the easiest, no-commitment way to find out whether scuba diving is for you.
PADI Discover Scuba Diving is an introductory experience, not a certification. The skills you practise can later be credited toward the PADI Open Water Diver course if you decide to get certified.
Discover Scuba dives are run on the calm, shallow sections of Netrani Island's reef, reached by boat from Murdeshwar. Good visibility and gentle conditions in the October-to-April season make a welcoming first dive for beginners.
