The PADI Divemaster is your first professional certification and the prerequisite for instructor training. Once certified you can guide certified divers, assist instructors and run select PADI programmes, and the rating renews annually as a teaching-status member.
Internship dives range across Panglao's house reefs at Doljo and Napaling and the deeper walls of Balicasag Island Marine Sanctuary and Pamilacan, where turtles and schooling fish make good settings for guiding practice. Warm 27-29C water and easy December-to-May conditions support the extended in-water time the rating requires.
