Begin your professional diving career with the PADI Divemaster course in Moalboal, Cebu, the first rung on the PADI professional ladder. Working from the Panagsama Beach dive scene, you build stamina and dive-leadership skills on the house reef and on boat trips to Pescador Island. You learn to guide certified divers and assist instructors in one of the most reliable year-round diving areas in the Philippines, and you qualify to supervise dive activities and lead certified divers on guided tours.
PADI Divemaster is the entry level of the PADI professional ranks. Once certified you may guide certified divers, assist instructors and, with additional PADI ratings, conduct programmes such as Discover Snorkeling and ReActivate; it is also the prerequisite for the Instructor Development Course.
Most training happens on the Panagsama Beach house reef, which has a shallow shelf for skills and a wall dropping past 50 metres alongside, plus boat dives to Pescador Island and the daily sardine run. Trainees get varied conditions in warm 27-29°C water. The December-to-May window is calmest, but Moalboal supports professional training nearly year-round.
