The PADI Divemaster course at Netrani Island is your first professional rating in scuba diving. Netrani is a reef off Karnataka's Murdeshwar coast, reached by dive boat across clear, fish-rich water. You build the stamina, dive theory and supervisory skills needed to guide certified divers and assist instructors. On completion you are a certified PADI Divemaster, qualified to work in the dive industry anywhere in the world.
The PADI Divemaster course is the first rating in the PADI professional ladder and follows the PADI system of education. Once you certify you become a renewing PADI professional member, eligible for dive-leader insurance and able to continue to the Assistant Instructor and Open Water Scuba Instructor courses.
Training is based on the boat dives to Netrani Island out of Murdeshwar. The reef slopes from roughly 5 to 30 metres, visibility is good and schooling fish are common, which makes a varied internship classroom. October to April brings the calmest seas and clearest water for the supervisory and mapping workshops.
