The PADI Divemaster course at Nusa Penida is your first scuba career step, the rating that lets you guide certified divers and assist on courses. Working in the strong drifts of Toyapakeh and the cold currents of Crystal Bay turns trainees into confident dive leaders who can read tides, brief sites and manage groups in genuinely demanding conditions. It is the first professional rating and a prerequisite for becoming an instructor.
PADI Divemaster is the first professional rating in the PADI system and a prerequisite for the Instructor Development Course. Certified Divemasters can guide certified divers, assist instructors and lead PADI programmes such as Scuba Review and Discover Scuba in confined water.
Internship dives span the full Nusa range, from sheltered Sental and Sampalan for skills work to drift sites like Toyapakeh and Crystal Bay where managing current and cold thermoclines is core training. The April-to-November dry season gives the most workable conditions and the best manta and Mola Mola encounters.
