The PADI Divemaster course is your first step into professional diving in south-ari-atoll, where you guide and assist on real dives across the whale-shark waters of the Maamigili marine protected area. It builds you into a confident dive leader on the atoll's channel dives and manta cleaning stations.
PADI Divemaster uses PADI eLearning and the digital Divemaster manual, issues a PADI professional membership and card, and includes Project AWARE conservation principles.
Training runs on South Ari's signature kandu (channel) drifts and reef thilas, where the current carries grey reef sharks, eagle rays and big schools of fusiliers along the wall. House-reef and lagoon sites at 5-18m give you a controlled space for skill demonstration before you guide guests out toward the whale-shark zone.
