Course overview

The SSI Divemaster route makes you a Dive Guide professional in south-ari-atoll, teaching you to lead certified divers along the same kandu channels where grey reef sharks and eagle rays patrol the current. It is built around real guiding hours on the atoll's reefs and the whale-shark protected area off Maamigili.

What you’ll learn

• Building a logged-dive portfolio through an internship

Prerequisites

• 18 years or older
• SSI Stress & Rescue (or equivalent) plus current first aid
• Specialty experience and a strong logged-dive count
• Medical fitness sign-off

Day-by-day itinerary

   Work through the digital kit and dive theory while reviewing SSI professional standards.
2. Day2
   Skills to mastery

   Repeat the performance-based water skills until they reach demonstration quality.
3. Day3
   Guiding the channels

   Lead certified divers on South Ari kandu drifts and practise group control in current.
4. Day4
   Internship & sign-off

   Assist the dive team across daily dives and complete your final evaluations.
