Course overview

Build the first-aid foundation every rescue diver needs with the PADI Emergency First Response course on Gili Trawangan, a dry, classroom-based program with no diving involved. You learn CPR and emergency care to internationally recognised standards, which makes good preparation before the Rescue Diver or Divemaster courses on the island.

What you’ll learn

• Perform primary care (CPR) on a non-responsive patient
• Provide secondary care (first aid) for non-life-threatening injuries
• Manage choking, serious bleeding and shock
• Use barriers and basic emergency equipment
• Build the confidence to respond in a real emergency

Prerequisites

• No prior experience or certification required
• Open to all ages and ability levels
• No swimming or diving component
• Willingness to practise hands-on skills
