Course overview

Gain essential emergency skills with the SSI React Right course on Gili Trawangan, a land-based first-aid and CPR program with no diving involved. You learn primary and secondary care to recognised standards, the standard prerequisite before the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue or Divemaster courses on the island.

What you’ll learn

• Perform CPR and primary care on a non-responsive patient
• Deliver secondary care for common injuries and illnesses
• Manage bleeding, shock and choking
• Use barriers, bandaging and basic emergency equipment
• Respond calmly and effectively in emergencies

Prerequisites

• No prior experience or certification required
• Open to all ages and ability levels
• No swimming or diving component
• Willingness to practise hands-on skills
