Build the confidence to act in an emergency with the PADI Emergency First Response course in Komodo, covering primary and secondary care on land or in the water. This is a non-diving course taken in the classroom, and it is the standard first-aid and CPR qualification that meets the prerequisite for PADI Rescue Diver and professional ratings. It is useful preparation before you take on Komodo's more demanding current dives.
PADI Emergency First Response is the recognised CPR and first-aid programme that meets the first-aid prerequisite for PADI Rescue Diver, Divemaster and instructor ratings. The participant certification is internationally recognised, with a refresher recommended every 24 months.
This is a classroom-based course held at the dive centre in Labuan Bajo, with no in-water requirement. Divers commonly take it before Rescue Diver or professional training, ahead of Komodo's current dives.
