This non-diving CPR and first-aid programme takes a day at the dive centre near Beau Vallon and is the required first-aid prerequisite for the Rescue Diver and Divemaster ratings. You leave able to manage breathing, circulation and injury emergencies on land or at the dive site.
PADI Emergency First Response is internationally recognised and based on accepted emergency-care guidelines. It satisfies the CPR and first-aid prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster programmes, and renewal is recommended every two years.
This is a classroom course held at the dive centre near Beau Vallon on Mahe, with no in-water component. It is often scheduled alongside Rescue Diver or Divemaster training.
