Dive Ambon's legendary critter and macro sites as a certified diver with guided PADI fun dives on the Banda Sea. From the muck slopes of the Twilight Zone to the Coral Gardens and the Hesperus wreck, small guided groups put you among the endemic Ambon Frogfish, nudibranchs and reef life, no course, just diving.
Fun dives are guided recreational dives for already-certified divers and carry no certification. Your certification level and logged experience determine which sites and depths you can dive; deeper or current-swept sites call for Advanced Open Water or equivalent.
Fun dives roam Ambon Bay's muck and reef, the Twilight Zone, Coral Gardens and the Hesperus wreck, in warm 27-29°C water with moderate currents. Critter diving is good year-round; open Banda Sea liveaboard crossings run mainly March-April and September-November when hammerhead schools appear.
