Guided PADI fun dives off the west coast let you explore Mauritius's best reefs as a certified diver. Departing from Flic-en-Flac, you can dive signature sites such as the cavern-and-wall Cathedral, the fish-rich Snake Reef and the rocky Aquarium, with deeper safari dives toward the south pass and northern reefs where blacktip and other reef sharks gather. A local guide who knows the seasonal conditions leads each dive.
Guided fun dives require a recognised certification such as PADI Open Water Diver. Depth is set by your certification level, and a refresher or scuba review is recommended if you have not dived recently.
