See the reef after dark with the PADI Night Diver specialty in Fiji, where Beqa Lagoon's soft-coral pinnacles change once the sun sets and nocturnal hunters come out. Across three night dives you learn light handling, night navigation and communication while spotting sleeping reef fish, lobster, octopus and the glow of bioluminescence. It certifies you to plan and lead night dives.
PADI Night Diver is a recreational specialty that counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating, and its dives can credit toward the Advanced Open Water night adventure dive.
Night dives use sheltered Beqa Lagoon and Pacific Harbour reefs where soft-coral pinnacles such as Pearl Rock come alive after dark. The warm 24-30C water and calm May-to-October evenings make for relaxed night diving.
