Become a fully certified diver with the PADI Open Water Diver course in Ambon on the Banda Sea, training in one of the world's richest critter and macro environments. Across confined-water sessions and four open-water dives in calm Ambon Bay you earn a globally recognised certification to dive to 18 metres anywhere in the world.
PADI Open Water Diver is the world's most popular entry-level scuba certification and qualifies you to dive to 18 metres with a buddy, independent of professional supervision. It's the prerequisite for Advanced Open Water and the rest of the PADI pathway.
Confined and open-water training uses the calm, shallow reefs of Ambon Bay, where warm 27-29°C water and outstanding critter life make a rewarding first certification. The bay is sheltered year-round, while the open Banda Sea is best in March-April and September-November.
