The PADI Wreck Diver specialty counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating and can credit toward Advanced Open Water. It covers wreck mapping and safe limited-penetration techniques to PADI standards.
Training centres on the HTMS Sattakut, a decommissioned naval vessel sunk off Koh Tao that now sits in recreational depths and draws grouper, batfish and barracuda. The warm 28-30C Gulf is divable year-round, with the clearest water on the wreck from March to May.
