Explore one of the Andaman Sea's best-known shipwrecks with the PADI Wreck Diver specialty in Krabi, where the King Cruiser ferry wreck near the Phi Phi sites makes an excellent training site. Over four dives you learn to survey, map and safely navigate the outside of wrecks while spotting the lionfish, barracuda and moray eels that now shelter there. You finish certified as a PADI Wreck Diver.
The PADI Wreck Diver specialty teaches safe survey and limited line-guided penetration within recreational limits, and it counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
Wreck training is based on the King Cruiser, a large ferry wreck near the Phi Phi sites reached by speedboat from Ao Nang. It dives best in the November-to-April season, when Andaman visibility is highest.
