Course overview

Dive the Andaman's underwater shipwrecks with the SSI Wreck Diving specialty in Krabi, centred on the King Cruiser ferry wreck reached by speedboat from Ao Nang. You learn to plan, survey and navigate around wrecks safely while watching the lionfish, barracuda and moray eels that shelter in the structure. You finish certified as an SSI Wreck Diving specialty diver.

The SSI Wreck Diver pathway

SSI teaches the Wreck Diving specialty through its digital platform, and it counts toward the SSI Specialty Diver and Master Diver recognition ratings.

Where you'll dive in Krabi

Training is based on the King Cruiser ferry wreck near the Phi Phi sites, reached by speedboat from Ao Nang. It dives best in the November-to-April Andaman high season.
