Course overview

Dive the Andaman's underwater shipwrecks with the SSI Wreck Diving specialty in Krabi, centred on the King Cruiser ferry wreck reached by speedboat from Ao Nang. You learn to plan, survey and navigate around wrecks safely while watching the lionfish, barracuda and moray eels that shelter in the structure. You finish certified as an SSI Wreck Diving specialty diver.

• Survey and map a wreck from the outside
• Use reels and guidelines for orientation around structure
• Maintain precise buoyancy and trim to avoid silt-out
• Assess wreck stability and entanglement risks

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• SSI Advanced Adventurer or equivalent certification
• Comfortable with buoyancy and basic navigation
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician
