Course overview

The PADI Wreck Diver specialty in Mauritius explores the structures and topography of the west coast, where the reef is shaped by an ancient lava flow and dotted with dramatic features. Over four dives from Flic-en-Flac you learn safe wreck-diving techniques, from mapping and penetration lines to managing buoyancy and silt in confined spaces. You finish certified to dive wrecks responsibly to a depth of 30 metres.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• PADI Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water (Deep Diver recommended)
• Comfortable with buoyancy control
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

   Mapping and lines

   Complete reel, guideline and limited-penetration dives, then certify.
