The SSI Advanced Adventurer course at Netrani Island on Karnataka's Murdeshwar coast takes your diving deeper. Across five adventure dives you sample different specialty disciplines, from deep diving toward 30 metres to navigation and fish identification, on the island's clear, fish-filled reef. You earn the SSI Advanced Adventurer certification, which qualifies you to dive to advanced recreational depths.
SSI Advanced Adventurer is completed through five adventure dives selected from SSI specialty programs and requires no written exam. Each adventure dive counts toward the full SSI specialty of the same discipline, so you build toward SSI Specialty Diver recognition.
Adventure dives take place on the boat dives to Netrani Island. A reef sloping to around 30 metres and plentiful barracuda, morays and reef fish suit the deep and fish-identification samples. The October-to-April season gives the clearest, calmest water.
