Course overview

The SSI Advanced Adventurer course on Tioman builds on your Open Water certification with five adventure dives that extend your depth to 30 metres and let you sample a range of specialties. Diving sites like Renggis Island and Tiger Reef, you try deep, navigation and three other adventure dives, and you finish a more capable and versatile diver.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (junior) or 15
• SSI Open Water Diver or qualifying certification from another agency
• Basic comfort in the water
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep and navigation

   Complete the deep and navigation adventure dives at sites such as Renggis Island, extending your depth to 30 metres.
2. Day2
   Elective adventure dives

   Three further adventure dives of your choice, such as wreck, night or buoyancy, at sites like Tiger Reef, then certify.
