SSI Deep Diving is a specialty of four dives delivered through MySSI. It extends your range to the 40-metre recreational limit and counts toward SSI specialty recognition.
Deep dives use north-male-atoll's channel walls and drop-offs, where reef structure continues into deeper water and currents can attract sharks and pelagics. The diving season peaks from November to April, when visibility is best across the atoll's channels and reefs. Water stays warm at 27-30°C year-round, with moderate currents on the channel sites.
