The SSI Try Scuba experience is a relaxed, instructor-led first taste of diving in Alor, with no certification needed. After a brief introduction you breathe underwater on a shallow, sheltered reef and meet the marine life of this remote Indonesian island under close supervision.
SSI Try Scuba is an introductory experience rather than a certification. If you continue, it can count toward your SSI Open Water Diver course, with your instructor alongside you throughout.
Try Scuba uses Alor's shallow, sheltered reefs near the resort, well away from the strong currents of the outer sites, suited to first-timers in the calm April-to-November season.
