SSI Divemaster is SSI's first professional-level rating, qualifying you to guide and supervise certified divers and assist instructors. SSI uses its free digital training platform and a continuous experience-and-skills model, and the rating is the prerequisite for the SSI Instructor Training Course.
Guiding and internship dives run from Maafushi by day boat across South Malé Atoll, using Maafushi Corner, Kandooma Thila and Banana Reef for leadership practice and the calm house reef for skill work, in warm 27-30°C water that is calmest from November to April.
