The SSI Dive Guide and Divemaster modules build your guiding, supervision and dive-theory skills on the calm local reefs, then you gain real experience on national-park trips to the Andaman's well-known sites.
SSI Divemaster is the entry-level professional rating, earned through authorised Training Centres using the SSI Total Diving System. It qualifies you to guide certified divers and assist instructors, and it is the stepping stone toward the SSI instructor path.
Skill and rescue work happens on the calm local reefs near Khao Lak, while guiding experience is built on November-to-April national-park trips to the Similans, Koh Bon and Koh Tachai, where moderate currents make for good real-world practice.
