SSI Divemaster (Dive Guide) is the entry-level SSI professional rating, delivered through the MySSI digital platform. It lets you guide certified divers and assist instructors, and it is the stepping stone toward the SSI instructor path.
Dive Guide training runs from the sheltered, shallow bay off Tarkarli and Malvan, beside Sindhudurg Fort, and the boat-accessed reefs offshore. The water is warm at 26-29C, and in the post-monsoon October-to-May season the Konkan coast stays calm and clear, which makes an approachable internship environment within weekend reach of Mumbai and Pune.
