Course overview

The SSI React Right course on Koh Tao builds life-saving confidence, a non-diving program covering CPR, first aid and oxygen administration. It satisfies the first-aid prerequisite for the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue course and professional ratings, and it fits easily around dive training on the island.

What you’ll learn

• Perform CPR on a non-breathing patient
• Deliver primary and secondary first-aid care
• Assess a scene and manage hazards safely
• Use barriers to limit disease transmission
• Administer emergency oxygen to an injured diver
• Respond calmly to medical and diving emergencies

Prerequisites

• No age minimum for general participation
• No prior experience or certification required
• Open to divers and non-divers
