Course overview

Gain essential emergency-care skills with the SSI React Right (Emergency First Response) course in Moalboal, Cebu. This non-diving classroom programme covers CPR, first aid, AED awareness and emergency management to international standards, and it pairs naturally with the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue course taught along Panagsama Beach. You finish this scuba diving course with a recognised emergency-care certification you can use in and out of the water.

What you’ll learn

• Perform primary assessment, CPR and rescue breathing
• Use an AED and barrier/protective devices
• Control bleeding, treat shock and manage spinal injuries
• Carry out secondary first-aid assessment and care

Prerequisites

• No diving experience or prior certification required
• Open to all ages with content adapted as appropriate
• No swimming requirement – this is a classroom course
• No medical clearance required for the non-diving training
