The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox specialty on Tioman extends your no-decompression limits for longer, more relaxed dives across the island's reefs and wrecks. This mostly dry course teaches you to analyse and dive enriched air safely, which is useful when you want more bottom time on a packed day of diving in the marine park.
SSI Enriched Air Nitrox is a recognised specialty that counts toward SSI Specialty Diver and Master Diver recognition. It certifies you for nitrox mixes up to 40 percent, with options up to 100 percent in extended versions, recorded digitally in MySSI.
The SSI nitrox course is mostly a dry session at the dive centre on Tioman. Enriched air pays off most on the deeper reef and wreck sites, where it extends no-decompression time during the March-to-October season.
