Dive the Seychelles after sunset with the SSI Night Diving specialty, exploring Mahe's granite-boulder reefs as nocturnal life takes over. Across night dives on sheltered sites near Beau Vallon you encounter octopus, lobster and moray eels under torchlight and learn the techniques of safe night diving. You finish certified to plan and lead your own night dives.
SSI Night Diving combines digital learning with in-water night dives and certifies you as an SSI Night Diving specialty diver, recorded in your SSI app. It counts toward SSI Specialty Diver and Master Diver recognition.
Night dives use Mahe's calm reefs near Beau Vallon, where octopus, lobster and morays come out over the granite and coral after dark in warm 26-30C water. Settled evenings around April-May and September-November are best.
